As a Benefits Administrator you are responsible for the administration of the Companys benefits programs and serve as the employees first point of contact for all benefit and workers compensation matters for the Monroe Distribution Center. This position is responsible for ensuring legal compliance with State and Federal regulations and requirements including disability, FMLA and OSHA.

Essential Functions

•Perform benefits administration on various employee benefit programs, such as group medical, dental, life, disability, including claim resolution, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.

•Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork including medical, personal, disability and FMLA.

•Partner with Benefits Administration, HR Service Center and Reno Distribution Center to ensure consistency in all issues related to leaves-of-absence and workers’ compensation cases.

•Report and file all workers’ compensation claims with third-party administrator and ensure timely and effective handling of claim processing. Follow up on claims regularly.

•Conduct employee benefits orientations and support the benefits enrollment process for all warehouse employees.

•Maintain all employee benefit files including the updating of employee information contained in the HRIS.

•Compile essential benefit and status reports by collecting, and summarizing information to support trends within the Distribution Center.

•Participate with recruiting hourly warehouse talent.


•Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage with employees in a sensitive and proactive manner

•Practical knowledge and experience with OSHA compliance and documentation

•Strong analytical and time management skills

•Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Position Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of benefits administration experience required

•Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
